Subdivisiona nd Land Development
Like the Zoning Ordinance, the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO) is a key document in determining the physical characteristics and landscape of the community. And like Zoning, SALDO is due for an update.
    To expedite that effort, in January of 2018 the Board of Commissioners appointed a five-member committee consisting of the members of the Township Planning and Zoning Department, the Township Engineer, the Township Manager and a Montgomery County Planning Commission representative to draft a comprehensive amendment to SALDO. The goal is to submit the completed draft to the Commissioners’ Building and Zoning Committee for review at public meetings before the end of 2018.
