Stormwater Fee Credits, Appeals

Property owners may qualify for a credit of up to 50% of the annual stormwater fee assessed to a property.  If you think you may qualify for a credit, please review the applicable Credit Policy linked below and submit an Application Form to the Township by email at [email protected] or by mail at Cheltenham Township | 8230 Old York Road | Elkins Park, PA 19027 | attn.: Stormwater Fee Credit Application.

Credits will be applied to your annual bill and will not be applied retroactively. Credit applications are due by September 1 of the year preceding the year in which you wish to receive a credit. 2023 is the first year a credit will be applied.

Stormwater Fee Appeal Inquiry Forms

Property Owners may submit an appeal of their stormwater fee within 30 days of the annual bill being mailed, with reasonable delivery time included, to the property owner per Section 11 of the Stormwater Management Fee Ordinance. Annual bills are typically mailed in early February. To appeal a fee, submit the appropriate appeal form linked below.
