Classes & Activities

The Parks and Recreation team is offering a variety of online programs from a variety of resources for all ages. We are working to add even more programs, so check back often for updates. 

All programs are subject to change or cancellation at any time depending on conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our staff and residents safe based on the latest information available.

Cooking Classes all ages:

 All Cooking Classes are held virtually, and are led by a live instructor who utilizes multiple cameras to make it easier to follow along at home. All links and lists of ingredients and supplies will be emailed to participants a week in advance. Kathy Wolper, instructor, has been teaching classes for many years. Virtual Yoga - Joyful Joints & Happy Bones!

FREE Sample Class: 1/12/2022   10:00AM - 10:30AM

Times: 10:00AM - 11:00AM
Fee: $50 for 8 classes
Instructor: Mary Duffy, M.Ed., RYT500, C-IAYT
This Virtual Movement course offers the opportunity to experience the joy of moving with ease and vitality. It starts from where you are and takes you through gentle exercises and movements that gradually increase your stamina, flexibility, strength, and postural awareness. Through this course, you will be awakened to a more harmonious moving self.
What you will need:
a yoga or exercise mat
a yoga strap/belt (or neck tie)
one or two folded blankets
a sturdy chair (folding or dining room)

Mary Duffy, M.Ed., RYT500, C-IAYT, is a yoga therapist and teacher who holds a Master’s degree in dance from Temple University. She has been teaching yoga and movement for over 25 years. Mary has worked with many populations, including seniors, children, and the disabled.


Virtual Chess for Young Players
Mondays & Thursdays * 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
