Civil Rights Task Force

Formerly known as the Human Relations Committee. On March 17, 2021, the name of this committee was changed to the Civil Rights Task Force by Ordinance 2424-21.

The duties of the Civil Rights Task Force are to advise the Public Affairs Committee of the Board of Commissioners on procedures to encourage compliance with all laws, federal and state, respecting the rights of citizens, the education of the public with respect thereto and the solution of problems regarding citizen rights. The Committee meets on the first Thursday of the month.
