Cheltenham pools and summer camps programs will not operate this 2020 season due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Following the recommendations of Governor Wolf, the Centers for Disease Control and the Montgomery Health Department regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Cheltenham Township will not open Glenside and Conklin pools and has canceled all summer camp programs this summer.
The health, safety and well being of the community, visitors and staff are very important to Cheltenham Township. For this reason, the Township is taking all possible precautions to protect the community. During this difficult period for so many, both locally and around the world, the Township appreciates your understanding and help in protecting the community from the spread of this virus.
As the weather warms up and summer begins, please remember that Cheltenham has many wonderful open spaces to spread out and enjoy. But please remember to maintain appropriate distancing and that sports fields, sports courts, play equipment, pavilions and the Curtis Dog Park remain closed until further notice.

Cheltenham Township offers two pools, Glenside Pool located at 185 South Keswick Avenue in Glenside and Charles D. Conklin, Jr. Pool located at 15 East Church Road in Cheltenham.

The pools offer swim lessons, swim team activities, and several events throughout the summer.
Membership is open to Cheltenham Township residents only and permits access to both pools.
