Community Harvest Festival

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the 30th Annual Community Harvest Festival may be canceled. Please hold all requests to participate in the event until further notice.



The 29th Annual Community Harvest Festival

Saturday, October 12, 2019 (rain date Oct. 13th)
Promises fall fun for all ages

As always, the setting for the festival is beautiful Curtis Arboretum, located at 1250 W. Church Road in Wyncote (directions). The fun starts at noon and wraps up after dark with a grand fireworks finale. Entertainment takes center stage throughout the day with several live performers and other festival highlights including:


  • Live Music to keep the crowd moving
  • Hayrides through the arboretum with spooky and fun surprises 
  • Craft Fair featuring great buys from an average of 30 vendors
  • Inflatable Amusements Rides and Inflatable Village
  • Kids Games where youngsters win prizes.
  • Needle in the Haystack
  • Face Painting
  • Pumpkin Decorating
  • Delicious Food Court with lots of tempting treats
  • Petting Zoo

Admission to the Community Harvest Festival is free, and plenty of on-site parking is available. 

 

VENDORS - We are not accepting applications at this time. The event may be canceled.
Crafters in the craft fair must supply their own tables and chairs. Electricity is not available. The non-refundable registration fee is $35 for a 10-foot space and $60 for a 20-foot space.  Setup begins that morning at 9 a.m..  No vendors, yo-yo balloons, sand art or face painting is permitted in the craft area. For more information, see the application or call 215-379-2233. Crafters are people who hand make items to sell.

 

*Vendors may apply for space. Same rules and regulations apply for vendors, and they should use the Crafter Application/Restrictions.

 

Cheltenham Township Non-Profit Groups and Organizations may apply for space at the Festival. Click to see the application form for the Non-Profit Groups or call 215-379-2233 for more information. THESE SPACES ARE LIMITED AND ARE ON FIRST COME BASIS.

    Volunteers help make this wonderful community event a success every year. Anyone willing staff a table or help set up that morning should call the
    Cheltenham Parks and Recreation Department at 215-887-6200, ext. 227.
