Cheltenham is home to two historic districts:
Each district has a board that makes recommendations regarding exterior changes to structures within its district. The board generally meets on the third Thursday of each month, La Mott at 6:30 p.m. and Wyncote at 7:15 p.m., at the Township Administration Building, 8230 Old York Road in Elkins Park.
