Good afternoon everyone!
I have had the opportunity to review the most recent COVID-19 mandates, recommendations and advisories from the Governor’s office and the CDC regarding public health and safety. As you may know, the State legislature ended the Governor’s Emergency Declaration, and the State’s mask mandate is set to end on June 28, 2021.
With the last modified schedule notice set to expire June 30, a decision has been made to re-open the Township Administration Building and the Tax Office to the public on July 6, 2021. With the help of the Cheltenham Township Emergency Management Agency, action has been taken to prepare the Administration Building to reopen to the public. A new security system is in place requiring visitors to press a call button to reach our receptionist. Sanitizing of buildings and vehicles will continue, and plastic shields are in place for the protection of our staff and the public.
Throughout this pandemic, I am so proud of our Board of Commissioners and Township staff for all their hard work, dedication, and commitment to the Cheltenham community! I also thank our Cheltenham residents, schools, and businesses for your patience and understanding during challenging times. It is why we are the best community in Montgomery County and the best place to live, work, play, and do business!
