Cheltenham Recipients of the MontcoStrong 2021 Restaurant Grant

Congratulations to these Cheltenham establishments who were awarded the MontcoStrong 2021 Restaurant Grant.
 
The Montgomery County Board of Commissioners announced today that a total of $6M has been awarded from the MontcoStrong 2021 Restaurant Grant Program to 600 restaurants and food service businesses negatively impacted by COVID-19.

The following Cheltenham restaurants were among the recipients:
  • Around the Corner Catering
  • Bill’s Best
  • Café Clover
  • Chef Vargas
  • Dreams Ice Cream
  • Elcy’s Café
  • Elkins Perk
  • Glenside Pub
  • Main Street Pizzeria and Grille
  • Mama’s Diner
  • Palermo’s Café
  • Roberts Block Restaurant
  • Rocky’s Deli Style Restaurant
  • Sea Food To Go
  • SMCHOI Inc.
  • Szechuan Mandarin Restaurant
  • The Ways Restaurant and Brewery
From the County's press release: "Recognizing the importance of the restaurant and food service industry as a cornerstone of Montgomery County’s economic and workforce development as well as central to the growth of entrepreneurship, job opportunities, and its communities, the Montgomery County Commissioners made available up to $6 million in County economic development funds to support restaurants and other food service businesses."
