Cheltenham Sustainable Yard Contest

The EAC is accepting nominations through October 1 for Sustainability Awards Yards and a Native Habitat Photo Contest.
Cheltenham Township's Environmental Advisory Council is partnering with Primex, Friends of High School Park, and Wyncote Audubon Society to host a sustainable yard contest in Cheltenham.
Interested participants have the following options:

Photo Contest:
Submit a photo of your native plant/pollinator garden, rain garden, meadow, bird habitat, or edible garden. Include a brief description of what makes your yard sustainable. Select photos will be displayed at Primex and the Township website and winner will receive a Primex gift card. Yards must be in Cheltenham.

Sustainability Award:
Submit nominations of exemplary sustainable yard projects—native plant/pollinator gardens, rain garden, meadow, bird habitat, edible garden, etc. Provide description (≤150 words) of what makes the project sustainable. Nominees must either own a sustainable yard in Cheltenham or be a business contributing to sustainable yards in Cheltenham. Winners will be announced on the Township webpage and will receive a Primex gift card.
