These crosswalks would match the design of the current crosswalks at the intersection of W. Waverly and Easton Roads to provide a visual traffic calming.
5/31/2019 -- Traffic Calming Pedestrian Improvement Concept for Harrison Avenue (lane narrowing) which consists of a white edge line with gore markings in certain locations that would narrow Harrison Avenue from approximately 18’ of travel lane to 10’ of travel lane with an 8’ shoulder between Glenside Avenue and W. Waverly Road This should help slow/calm traffic on Harrison approaching W. Waverly Road.
5/31/2019 -- Traffic Calming Pedestrian Improvement Concept for W. Waverly Road Lane Narrowing & Lismore All-Way Stop This concept consists of a center gore area that in effect reduces the travel lanes on W. Waverly, thereby acting as a traffic calming feature. I have also shown an all-way (3-way) stop at the intersection of Lismore and W. Waverly that would be subject to meeting warrants.
