Poets & Poetry at the Elkins Park Library

Ray Petro is a life-long poet with two self-published books, and has been published in an Italian poetry magazine as well as a theological periodical. She has led poetry workshops for teens and given many readings.  She is also an activist, musician, artist, storyteller, and twenty-year elementary schoolteacher. Petro, a proud transwoman, helped found the only LTGBTQIA community center in Montgomery County (SAGA Community Center). Open mic after the headline poet.
