TTF Nature Series: LAST EVENT for the year - Sat. Nov. 12, 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.: “Oh Deer!”
The class will meet in the parking lot along the Tookany Parkway near Central Ave. This is a revised meeting place. If the weather is inclement the class will be held either under cover or indoors, so do check back for final location and come to the program regardless of weather.

During the class you will put together an actual deer skeleton, look at skulls and pictures of vertebrates that live in our watershed, and learn about them. The dentition of these animals can tell us where they fit in the food web. By playing a game you will learn about the natural rise and fall of animal populations. We’ll even compare the human skeleton with the skeleton of other vertebrates. Nearly all ages can learn from, and enjoy, this class (recommended 6+).

No preregistration required. Please have a mask available to prevent the spread of illness, especially if we meet indoors.
Instructor: Judith Gratz, Environmental Education Specialist.
