How to Request a Police Report

When will my police report be available? Reports will require a minimum of 5 business days from the date of the incident for processing and review before they become available to the public.

Reportable Crash Reports (AA-500) may require a minimum of 14 business days for processing, data entry and review before becoming available to the public.

Why does it take so long to release a Reportable Crash (AA-500) Report? Reportable crashes must be reviewed by the Administrative Services Sergeant and entered into the Pennsylvania State Police Crash Reporting System before release to the public.

How do I obtain a copy of the Police Report? Reports may be requested by mail, e-mail, in person, or by phone during normal business hours. Responses to report or information requests can be sent via mail, e-mail or left at the front lobby window for pick up by the requestor.
