HOME SECURITY INSPECTIONS

In its continuing effort to provide our residents with quality police services, the Cheltenham Township Police Department is pleased to announce that the Department offers free residential security surveys for township residents.

These surveys are given to Township residents to help reduce the number of burglaries and thefts in the area.  The survey consists of a complete inspection of the exterior and interior of the residence. The officer will give suggestions to the owner on what improvements need to be made to make it safer.

The Cheltenham Police Department has specially trained Officers that are residential security surveyors. Surveys are done on an appointment only basis and township residents are encouraged to contact the Cheltenham Police Department’s Community Policing Unit to set up an appointment.
