All burglar alarms in the Township including both, commercial or residential alarms require a permit per Cheltenham Township Code: 1846-95. An application for an alarm permit can be obtained either in person at the Township Accounting Office, located in the Township Administration Building, or can be downloaded off the Township Web site under “FORMS”. Completed applications along with the $35.00 fee covering a one-year period should be forwarded to:

There is a renewal fee of $15.00 / $10.00 for Senior Citizens
