An annual awards program recognizes stakeholders who make significant contributions to the Sustainable Cheltenham mission. Nominations due by May 4.
Sustainable Cheltenham is a campaign that unites Cheltenham Township residents, businesses, institutions and other local stakeholders behind a shared vision for a more resilient and environmentally-friendly community. To recognize stakeholders who make significant contributions to the Sustainable Cheltenham mission, the Cheltenham Township Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) established an annual awards program.

Nominations must reflect one or more of the Ten Sustainability Goals:

1. Community Engagement
2. Energy
3. Mobility
4. Waste Reduction
5. Ecological Stewardship
6. Sustainable Development
7. Water Management
8. Local Economy
9. Healthy Living for All
10. Monitoring

All efforts must have occurred in Cheltenham Township and benefit either the township or the region as a whole. Nominations should describe any regional impact and include, if possible, measurements documenting the improvements.
Eligible nominees include residents and businesses, institutions or organizations located in Cheltenham Township. Self-nominations are encouraged. The online nomination form should be submitted no later than May 4, 2018.

Winners will be chosen by the EAC and recognized on June 3, 2018, at the annual Arts in the Park, featuring Sustainable Cheltenham, at High School Park. For more information, contact the Public Information Office at 215-887-6200, ext. 230.
