Commissioner Morton (“Mickey”) J. Simon, Jr. (seated, right) receives an official Township resolution and other accolades in honor of his retirement from the Cheltenham Township Board of Commissioners on January 2, 2018.

Simon’s wife Claudia (seated, left) was also honored during the proceedings. State Representative Steve McCarter (left) and Township Manager Bryan T. Havir (fourth from right) joined Cheltenham Commissioners (left to right) Ann L. Rappoport, Brad M. Pransky, Irv Brockington, Drew Sharkey, Baron B. Holland, and Daniel B. Norris in presenting a series of accolades, including a teak bench that will be installed in Simon’s ward in his honor, during Simon’s last official meeting of the Board of Commissioners at Curtis Hall in Wyncote.
