Holiday Happenings at Wall House Museum
Posted Date:
11/18/2017
If you love history and the holidays, come see one-of-a-kind decorations in the “A Bountiful Christmas” at the historic Richard Wall House Museum in Elkins Park.
The museum will be adorned with period floral decorations appropriate to the time frame represented by each room, courtesy of the Old York Road Garden Club, which received first place awards for its decorations in 2015 and 2016 from National Gardens Clubs, Inc. The museum will also feature a special tree decorated by the Daughters of the American Revolution. Stop by the Carriage House afterwards and enjoy some hot chocolate, cookies and treasures for sale in the Country Store. All proceeds from the store will benefit the museum and garden club.

The event will be held on Sundays, December 3, 10 and 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the museum, located at 1 Wall Park Drive in Elkins Park. Admission is free, but a $5 donation per person to benefit the museum is suggested to help offset operating expenses.
