On Sunday, October 21, daring visitors can meet the “spirits” of notables
from local history, such as Jay Cooke, Mrs. Langsdorf, and William Welsh
Harrison, during a candlelight tour of the historic Richard Wall House
Museum, which is dated at 1682 and listed on the National Registers of
Historic Places. The Cheltenham Township Historical Commission will sponsor
this free event from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the museum, located at 1 Wall
Park Drive off Church Road just 1/10 mile west of Old York Road (Rte. 611)
