Cheltenham Township will host an educational meeting about a proposed ordinance to create a Historic Resource Overlay District to protect local landmarks throughout the community. The meeting will be held on Thursday, September 20 at 7:00 p.m. at Curtis Hall, located at 1250 W. Church Road in Wyncote.  Representatives from the Cheltenham Township Ad Hoc Zoning Committee, Historical Commission and Staff, along with the Cultural Heritage Resource Service, Inc., will explain the impact the ordinance would have on properties that are designated as local landmarks and answer questions.  Property owners of potential local landmarks received direct invitations to the meetings.
