Police Alert: Theft from Autos

 

In December, the Board of Commissioners passed a balanced budget for 2010 of just under $37 million. The Commissioners eliminated almost $905,500 in spending from the budget first proposed in October 2009, including cutting some pay raises and eliminating employee positions. A summary of the 2010 general fund budget is available online.

 

 

Proposals for three major developments in the community are currently or soon to be in the zoning or subdivision/land development review process:

 

Meeting Location Changes

 The Public Affairs Committee, Public Safety Committee and Building and Zoning Committee meetings on the first Wednesdays of the month will be also held at Curtis Hall from January through June 2010.
